5 stars. Bought this kite for my grandson. Took it to our local recreation ground for a test flight. Even with a light wind it flew easily and stayed aloft for over half hour. Well worth the price.

Unparalleled grace in use

I highly recommend these kites, so very special, they achieve unparalleled grace in use. Not a stunt kite, have just one line, but can be gently controlled, can be made almost land by relaxing the line, then a swift tug & they soar upwards. Easy for the solo kite flyer too. No-one needs mindfulness if they fly one of these. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed.

Fedex messed up the delivery

Fedex messed up the delivery but Martin at JK was on to it and it got here in time for a breezy Sunday.

Very authentic. I see JK found the DNA in some amber and took it from there.

Got her aloft easily in a light breeze (that’s Beaufort 2 thanks to the included wind scale) and up she went to the full 50m of line in no time at all. Low down she swings from side to side a lot but up high she’s very stable. You could just tie her to a tent peg or a small child and not worry about anything unless the wind gets up too high for the weight of the child.

Dad has a Pterodactyl; we have a Pterodactyl; just ordered a third Pterodactyl for our Niece’s 10th birthday too. Very quick to prep & flies well. Hard to put finger on why so much fun for children & adults alike, can fly for hours & never get bored.
